The Ultimate Fighting Championships have signed current UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez to a new eight fight deal. Velasquez is currently enjoying a second reign as UFC Heavyweight Champion, defeating Junior Dos Santos in their rematch at UFC 155 to win the belt back. Velasquez won the title the first time at UFC 121, when he defeated Brock Lesnar by TKO in the opening round. Velasquez will be defending the belt at UFC 160 in May in a rematch against Antonio Silva, whom he previously defeated at UFC 146.
