The vacant MFC Heavyweight Title will be on the line at MFC 37 as Chris Barnett battles Smealinho Rama for the gold. Barnett enters the fight riding a two fight winning streak and his lone professional MMA loss came to Bellator veteran Eric Prindle. Rama earned an opportunity at the vacant title when he defeated Mike Hackert by knockout at MFC 36. Maximum Fighting Championships 37 takes place on May 10th from the Shaw Conference Center in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada with the aforementioned fighters headlining.
