A pair of flyweights will be competing at UFC On FX VIII as John Lineker will be competing against Azamat Gashimov. Lineker has split both of his fights in the UFC, defeating Yasuhiro Urushitani and suffering a defeat to Louis Gaudinot. Gashimov is currently winless in UFC competition, suffering a defeat to Ivan Menjivar back at UFC 154. UFC On FX VIII takes place on May 18th from the Arena Jaragua in Jaragua Do Sul, Santa Catarina, Brazil with Luke Rockhold and Vitor Belfort headlining.
