A pair of welterweights will be stepping into the octagon at UFC On FX VIII as Paulo Thiago battles Lance Benoist. Thiago has only won one of his last five in UFC competition, with that lone victory coming over David Mitchell. Benoist enters the fight riding a two fight losing streak, with those losses coming to Seth Baczynski and Sean Pierson. UFC On FX VIII takes place on May 18th from the Arena Jaragua in Jaragua Do Sul, Santa Catarina, Brazil with Luke Rockhold and Vitor Belfort headlining.
