--- This Saturday (March 9), NWA Smoky Mountain returns to Rogersville, TN with a huge card as WWE Superstar, DX & New Age Outlaw Member, Billy Gunn will be in action. Gunn will team with Vince Brent to take on NWA Tennessee Tag Team Champions, The Illuminati (Tony Givens & Chris Richards).

After seeing footage of that attack, NWA Smoky Mountain Commissioner, John Moorehouse ordered the Illuminati to put the titles on the line on March 9 against Vince Brent and a partner of his choosing... Vince shocked the entire Smoky Mountain region when he picked 10 Time WWE Tag Team Champion, Billy Gunn to be his partner.

--- This past weekend on
NWA Smoky Mountain TV Sigmon and NWA Smoky Mountain Champion, Jason Kincaid competed in a brutal Non-Title Match... The match spilled to the outside of the ring several times and concluded when Sigmon was disqualified for hitting Kincaid in the head with a steel chair. However, Sigmon didn't stop his assault when the bell rang. Instead he attempted to seriously injured Kincaid by putting his neck under a steel chair and hitting that chair with another chair.
This morning, NWA Commissioner, John Moorehouse had this to say about the situation: "If Sigmon wants to play with steel, then I'm going going to to let him play with steel... Sigmon vs. Kincaid for the NWA Smoky Mountain Title on Saturday, March 23 in Kingsport will now be a Steel Cage Match!"
Jason Kincaid was reportedly shaken up after the attack, but he has refused to miss any time from the ring... This plays to the advantage of "The Reaper" Matt Conard, who will challenge Kincaid for the title this Saturday in Rogersville, TN.
The dangerous Conard entered the Contenders Ring at House Party when he defeated Ricky Morton... Can an injured Kincaid survive the challenge of "The Reaper" this Saturday? And if so, what condition will he be in when he enters the cage against Sigmon just 2 weeks later?
--- This weekend, the final 2 NWA Smoky Mountain Cup Qualifying Match were signed!
NWA Southern TV Champion, Vince Brent will take on NWA Mid-Atlantic's Ricky Shane and in a rematch from House Party 2013, "Super Natural" Zac Vincent will take on Joe Black!
The winners of these 2 matches along with the winners of Menace vs. Will Huckaby and Fred Yehi vs. Matt Conard will go on to compete in the NWA Smoky Mountain Cup!

--- Coming up on Saturday, March 23 at 5:00 PM; we will present out 2nd NWA Smoky Mountain Open Tryout for wrestlers that are interested in earning a spot on the NWA Smoky Mountain Roster.
The tryout is open to all wrestlers who have completed any pro wrestling training course. This is not for people that have never stepped foot in a ring before. The cost of the tryout is just $25.
Our 1st Open Tryout took place in November in Rogersville, TN. The winner of the tryout, William Huckaby made his NWA Smoky Mountain singles debut in an NWA National Heavyweight Title Match against Damien Wayne in January and will be wrestling on the March 23 event. 4 other wrestlers who competed in our open tryout have been booked by NWA Smoky Mountain since that time... In other words, unlike a lot of other "tryouts", we are actually looking for the best talent we can find and the best will be booked.
The tryout will take place at the Civic Auditorium in Kingsport, TN before the NWA Smoky Mountain event that night. Top 10 Ranked NWA Wrestler, "The Wrestling Extraordinaire" Sigmon will be the primary coach for this tryout. This is a great opportunity to not only get a chance to work for NWA Smoky Mountain, but to work with one of the best young wrestlers in the world.
One of the wrestlers from the tryout will be booked that night on the event. That person will be reimbursed their $25 fee.
