A UFC Middleweight Title defense as champion Anderson Silva defends the championship against Chris Weidman. Silva has not dropped a fight in seven years, with his last victory coming as a light heavyweight over Stephan Bonnar at UFC 153. Weidman is currently undefeated in his professional MMA career, with notable victories over Damian Maia and Mark Munoz. UFC 162 takes place on July 6th from a location to be announced in Las Vegas, Nevada with the aforementioned fight headlining.
