A UFC Interim Bantamweight Title bout as champion Renan Barao defends the gold against Eddie Wineland. Barao has successfully defended the championship once at UFC On Fuel TV VII when he defeated Michael McDonald by submission. Wineland earned himself a shot at the title when he defeated Brad Pickett by decision at UFC 155. UFC 161 takes place on June 15th from the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada with the aforementioned fight headlining.
