Darren Elkins has agreed to step in as a late replacement to fight Chad Mendes at UFC On Fox VII, replacing an injured Clay Guida. Elkins is currently undefeated as a featherweight in the UFC, last defeating Antonio Carvalho at UFC 158. Mendes will enter the fight riding a two fight winning streak, which includes a victory over Cody McKenzie at UFC 148. UFC On Fox VII takes place on April 2oth from the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California with Ben Henderson and Gilbert Melendez headlining.
