Following the injury to Ediane Gomes, Fiona Muxlow has agreed to step in and fight Cristiane Santos at Invicta FC V. Muxlow has won three of her last four fights entering this fight, but is coming off of a loss to former Strikeforce Women’s Bantamweight Champion Marloes Coenen. Santos is returning to the cage after a yearlong suspension after a failed drug test and she was the lone Strikeforce Women’s Featherweight Champion. Invicta FC V takes place on April 5th from the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Kansas City, Missouri with Jessica Penne and Michelle Waterson headlining.
