The Xtreme Fighting Championships Lightweight Title will be defended at XFC 24 as champion Nick Newell defends against Scott Holtzman. Newell won the championship back at XFC 21, defeating Eric Reynolds by submission in the opening round. Holtzman earned an opportunity at the title when he defeated Jason Hicks by unanimous decision at XFC 22. XFC 24 takes place on June 14th from the Tampa Bay Times Forum in Tampa, Florida with the aforementioned fight headlining.
