The promotional debut of former UFC fighter Jon Fitch, as he is set to battle Josh Burkman in the main event. Fitch will be competing outside of the UFC for the first time in almost eight years, the fighter compiled a 14-3-1 record in the promotion. Burkman will be looking to avenge a previous loss to Fitch, which came via submission all the way back at UFC Ultimate Fight Night IV in 2006. WSOF III takes place on June 14th with a venue to be determined and the aforementioned fighters headlining.
