A welterweight division battle has been added to the UFC 162 card as Mike Pierce is set to battle David Mitchell. Pierce will enter the fight riding a three fight winning streak, most notably defeating Aaron Simpson at UFC On FX V. Mitchell has only won one of three in UFC competition, with that lone victory coming over Simeon Thoresen at UFC On Fox VI. UFC 162 takes place on July 6th from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Anderson Silva and Chris Weidman headlining.
