A lightweight division affair has been added to UFC 162 as Edson Barboza is set for action against John Makdessi. Barboza has won five of six fights under the UFC banner, most notably defeating Ross Pearson at UFC 134. Makdessi enters the fight riding a two fight winning streak, last defeating Daron Cruickshank via decision at UFC 158. UFC 162 takes place on July 6th from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Anderson Silva and Chris Weidman headlining.
