A cut has forced Constantinos Philippou off the UFC ON FX VIII card, replacing him against Ronaldo Souza will be Chris Camozzi. Souza will be making his UFC debut in this fight, but he is a former Strikeforce Middleweight Champion. Camozzi will enter the fight riding a four fight winning streak, last defeating Nick Ring by decision at UFC 158.
Due to those changes, Rafael Natal will now be facing Joao Zeferino at the event, the bout will remain on the main card. Natal has won three of his last four fights under the UFC banner, most notably defeating Michael Kuiper at UFC 143. Zeferino will be making his UFC debut in this fight, but he does hold a victory over UFC veteran Sean Salmon. UFC On FX VIII takes place on May 18th from the Arena Jaragua in Jaragua Du Sol, Brazil with Vitor Belfort and Luke Rockhold headlining.
