UFC Interim Bantamweight Champion Renan Barao has suffered a foot injury and is off the UFC 161 card, he was set to defend his belt against Eddie Wineland. There is no word yet on if Wineland will remain on the card or if he will wait for Barao’s injury to heal. If no replacement is found, either the Mauricio Rua/Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira or the Rashad Evans/Dan Henderson fight will take the main event slot. UFC 161 takes place on June 15th from the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada with no headliner announced as of yet.
