UFC veteran John Cholish has announced his retirement following a loss to Gleison Tibau after UFC On FX VIII. Cholish actually announced via Twitter before the bout that he was going to retire, no matter the outcome of the fight. Cholish will end his near six year professional MMA career with a record of 8-3-0 and on a two fight losing streak. Throughout his MMA career, Cholish has fought top fighters like Gleison Tibau, Danny Castillo, Mitch Clarke and Jameel Massouh.
