A potential UFC Featherweight Title top contender’s bout has been added to UFC 164 as Chad Mendes faces Clay Guida. Mendes has been undefeated since losing a UFC Featherweight Title bout at UFC 142, with a notable victory over Darren Elkins at UFC On Fox VII. Guida is currently undefeated as a featherweight in the UFC, having defeated Hatsu Hioki at UFC On Fox VI. UFC 164 takes place on August 31st from the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with no headliner announced as of yet.
