Following the back injury to Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, Chael Sonnen has agreed to step in on short notice and fight Mauricio Rua at UFC 161. Sonnen will enter the fight riding a two fight losing streak, but both of those losses came in title bouts against Jon Jones and Anderson Silva. Rua has rotated wins and losses in his last eight bouts, with his last fight being a loss to Alexander Gustafsson at UFC On Fox V. UFC 161 takes place on June 15th from the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada with Rashad Evans and Dan Henderson headlining.
