In the promotions biggest signing to date, the Bellator Fighting Championships has signed former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton “Rampage†Jackson. Rampage left the UFC after his contractual agreement was fulfilled, his last fight was a loss to Glover Teixeira at UFC On Fox VI. Rampage will also enter the promotion on a three fight losing streak and his Bellator debut will mark the first time Jackson has competed outside the UFC in over six years.
In an interesting side note to the deal, Rampage will also be allowed to make appearances on TNA Wrestling, should his schedule allow it. There is no word yet on when Rampage will make his promotional debut, but it should come sometime during season nine.
