A bout that was originally rumored for UFC 161 as Chael Sonnen will face Mauricio Rua in a light heavyweight division fight. Sonnen will enter the fight riding a two fight losing streak, but those losses have come to UFC champions Jon Jones and Anderson Silva. Rua has rotated wins and loss in his last eight UFC fights, with his last fight being a loss to Alexander Gustafsson at UFC On Fox V. UFC On Fox Sports 1 #1 takes place on August 17th from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts with the aforementioned fight headlining.
