The season eight welterweight tournament final will be postponed once against as Douglas Lima has suffered an injury and his bout against Ben Saunders has been scratched from the card. This is the second time the fight has been postponed, as a previous Lima injury caused the inaugural bout to be cancelled. There is no word yet on when the finals will be taking place, but it should come sometime during season nine. Bellator 97 takes place on July 31st from the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico with Michael Chandler and David Rickels headlining.
