A knee injury has forced Anthony Pettis off of the UFC 163 card, Jose Aldo will now defend the UFC Featherweight Title against Chan Sung Jung at the event. Aldo has successfully defended the championship six times, last defending it against Frankie Edgar at UFC 156. Jung is currently undefeated in UFC competition, last defeating Dustin Poirier by submission at UFC On Fuel TV III. Jung, now challenging for the gold, has been pulled from an upcoming bout against Ricardo Lamas at UFC 162. UFC 163 takes place on August 3rd from the HSBC Arena in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil with the aforementioned fighters headlining.
