A legal issue that requires any foreign-born competitors (MMA, Boxing, ETC.) who compete in the state of Massachusetts to have a valid social security number could cause either massive changes or the complete cancellation of the UFC On Fox Sports 1 #1 card. There is an issue because both Mauricio Rua and Alistair Overeem, who are in the co-main event and main event respectively, are both foreign-born competitors. Ultimate Fighting Championships officials have already applied for a one time exemption, but nothing is official as of yet. UFC On Fox Sports 1 #1 takes place on August 17th from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts with Chael Sonnen and Mauricio Rua headlining.
