Due to Chan Sung Jung getting the title shot against Jose Aldo at UFC 163, original opponent Ricardo Lamas has also been pulled from the UFC 162 card. There is no word yet on when Lamas will compete again, but it should come sometime before the end of 2013. With that fight being pulled from the card, a bout between Mark Munoz and Tim Boetsch has been moved from the FX portion of the preliminary card to the pay-per-view card. Also, a fight between Gabriel Gonzaga and Dave Herman will now take place on the FX portion of the preliminary card, instead of the Facebook portion. UFC 162 takes place on July 6th from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Anderson Silva and Chris Weidman headlining.
