UFC, Bellator and Elite XC veteran Seth Petruzelli has announced his retirement from MMA competition, he will retire with a record of 14-8-0. Petruzelli will be most remembered for his lone fight in the Elite XC promotion, where he defeated company figurehead Kimbo Slice in a huge upset, most people consider that fight to be what ended the Elite XC promotion. Petruzelli has been competing in MMA for thirteen years, plus he has fought top fighters like the aforementioned Kimbo Slice, Dan Severn, Matt Hamill, Ricco Rodriguez and King Mo. Petruzelli’s last fight came this past week at Bellator 96, he was knocked out by King Mo in the opening round of the light heavyweight tournament.
