UFC veteran and legendary star of the kickboxing world, Semmy Schilt, has retired from active competition after learning of a serious heart condition. Although Schilt has not competed in MMA for nearly five years, he did fight a lot of great names like Yuki Kondo, Guy Metzger, Gilbert Yvel, Josh Barnett, Fedor Emelianenko, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Sergei Kharitonov. Schilt is better known for his great career as a professional kickboxer, a career that saw him win the K-1 World Grand Prix four different times (2005-2007 & 2009).
