Derrick Lewis has suffered an injury and is off the UFC On Fox Sports 1 #2 card, original opponent Nandor Guelmino will now meet Daniel Omielanczuk at UFC 165. Guelmino has won seven of his last eight bouts, with that lone loss coming to Josh Barnett at the final Strikeforce card. Omielanczuk will make his UFC debut riding an eleven fight winning streak and he has not suffered a loss in almost two years. UFC 165 takes place on September 21st from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada with Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson headlining.
Due to the heavyweight bout being pulled from the card, a bout between Roger Bowling and Abel Trujillo has been added to UFC On Fox Sports 1 #2. Bowling is currently winless in UFC competition, dropping a fight to Anthony Njokuani at UFC On Fox VII. Trujillo has split both of his UFC fights, defeating Marcus LaVesseur and losing to Khabib Nurmagomedov. UFC On Fox Sports 1 #2 takes place on August 28th from the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana with Carlos Condit and Martin Kampmann headlining.
