Fight #7 - UFC Featherweight Division Fight

Cub Swanson (19-5-0) vs. Dennis Siver (21-8-0)

Referee: Herb Dean

Round One

The round begins with Siver quickly attacking Swanson with some leg kicks, Siver then cracks Swanson with a counter left. Siver follows that up with a multi-punch combo on an incoming Swanson, Siver then scores a takedown on Swanson after blocking a kick. Siver starts to attack Swanson with some short range strikes, Siver transitions to side control on Swanson. Siver starts to mix in some elbow strikes on his attack against Swanson, Swanson eventually forces Siver into his half guard. Swanson uses a guillotine choke attempt to get the fight standing again, the fighters have a striking exchange as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Siver trying to hit Swanson with a variety of kicks, Siver barely connects with a spin kick on Swanson. Siver then goes back to the leg kick attack on Swanson, Swanson also begins to attack Siver with leg kicks. Siver responds by cracking a charging Swanson with a short uppercut, Swanson then attacks Siver with a few rights. Swanson follows that up by nailing Siver with a right to the midsection, Swanson then pops an incoming Siver with an uppercut. Swanson then scores a takedown on Siver and instantly gets full mount, Swanson rolls for the omaplata on Siver as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Siver nailing a swinging Swanson with a left hook, Swanson responds by cracking Siver with a head kick. Swanson follows that up with a right and a kick to the midsection on Siver, Swanson then pops Siver with a right to the kidney area. Swanson keeps the pressure on Siver by hitting him with a counter right and more rights afterwards, Swanson then drops Siver with a flurry of strikes and he pounces on him with more strikes until the referee jumps in.

Fight Result: Cub Swanson def. Dennis Siver by TKO via strikes (2:24, R3)

Fight #8 - UFC Middleweight Division Fight

Tim Boetsch (16-5-0) vs. Mark Munoz (12-3-0)

Referee: Steve Mazzagatti

Round One

The round begins with Boetsch immediately scoring a takedown on Munoz, Munzo quickly scrambles to get the fight standing. Boetsch scores another takedown on Munoz and he quickly attacks him with strikes, Munzo uses a wall walk to get the fight standing. Boetsch charges at Munoz and he catches him with a knee strike, Munoz then scores a takedown on Boetsch and he gets leg control. Boetsch uses the wall walk to get the fight standing again, Munzo scores a takedown and Boetsch rolls through to get the fight standing immediately. Munoz scores another takedown on Boetsch and nearly got caught in a guillotine choke, the fighters stand up and Munoz hits Boetsch with a knee strike that is followed by a right. The fighter clinch and battle along the cage wall, Munoz cracks Boetsch with a few knee strikes and a punching combination as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Boetsch nailing Munoz with a kick to the midsection, Munoz responds by landing a kick of his own on Boetsch. Munoz forces Boetsch up against the cage wall and landing some knee strikes on him, Boetsch breaks free and then cracks Munoz with a right. Munoz then scores a takedown on Boetsch and he gets the open guard, Munoz quickly transitions to back control on Boetsch. Munoz attacks Boetsch with violent strikes to the rib cage area, Boetsch finds a way to get back up and Munoz quickly puts him back down. Boetsch eats some more strikes before standing up once again, Munoz again drags him back down while landing more strikes. Munoz lands a ton of knee strikes to the body of Boetsch as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Munoz cracking Boetsch with a pair of rights, Boetsch grabs a hold of Munoz and goes for a guillotine choke. Munoz escapes and Boetsch tries to lock him in a Japanese neck tie, Munoz escapes and Boetsch goes for the arm bar. Munoz escapes and he destroys Boetsch with a plethora of strikes, Munoz then moves to back control on Boetsch. Boetsch scrambles to break free and he eats more strikes from Munoz, Munoz attempts a kimura on Boetsch and fails. Munoz resumes his ground and pound attack on Boetsch, Munoz looks for a rear naked choke and Boetsch escapes. Munoz attacks Boetsch with a lot more ground and pound as the round ends.

Fight Result: Mark Munoz def. Tim Boetsch by unanimous decision (30-26, 30-27, 29-28)

Fight #9 - UFC Middleweight Division Fight

Roger Gracie (6-1-0) vs. Tim Kennedy (15-4-0)

Referee: Kim Winslow

Round One

The round begins with Gracie peppering Kennedy with some jabs, Kennedy begins to attack Gracie with some leg kicks. Gracie then scores a takedown on Kennedy and he gets back control, Kennedy scrambles with Gracie holding onto him to get the fight standing. Gracie grabs a hold of Kennedy to attack him with several knee strikes, Gracie scores another takedown on Kennedy and he gets back control. Gracie tries to attack Kennedy with some ground and pound, Kennedy spins to get himself on top of Gracie as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Kennedy immediately attacking Gracie with some kicks, Kennedy grabs a hold of Gracie before hitting him with a knee strike. Kennedy then scores a takedown on Gracie and he gets back control, Kennedy begins to attack Gracie with ground and pound. Gracie uses a scramble to get the fight standing again. The fighters are then battling for position along the cage wall, the fighter’s exchange some knee strikes while in the clinch. Kennedy then scores another takedown on Gracie and he gets the half guard, Gracie eventually forces Kennedy into the full guard. The referee stands up the fighters after inactivity and Kennedy pops Gracie with a left, the fighters clinch up as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Gracie attacking Kennedy with some push kicks, Kennedy then starts to attack Gracie with some leg kicks. Kennedy grabs a hold of Gracie before attacking him with knee strikes, Gracie scores a takedown on Kennedy and they both pop right back to their feet. The fighters start clinching and battling for position along the cage wall, the referee separates the fighters after inactivity and Kennedy pops Gracie with an uppercut. Kennedy chases Gracie while hitting him with some lefts, Kennedy catches Gracie with a few more strikes as the round ends.

Fight Result: Tim Kennedy def. Roger Gracie by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)

Fight #10 - UFC Featherweight Division Fight

Frankie Edgar (14-4-1) vs. Charles Oliveira (16-3-0-1NC)

Referee: Yves Lavigne

Round One

The round begins with Edgar rocking Oliveira early with a counter right, Edgar then scores a takedown on Oliveira and they both get back up after a little grappling. Oliveira then cracks Edgar with a knee strike to the midsection, Oliveira pulls guard on Edgar to get the fight to the ground. Oliveira rolls for a submission and Edgar escapes to get the fight standing, Edgar then catches Oliveira with a two punch combination. Edgar continuously catches Oliveira with some punching combinations, Oliveira responds with a right to the jaw of Edgar. Edgar responds by cracking Oliveira with a left hook and an uppercut, Oliveira then hits Edgar with a right to the rib cage. Edgar then scores a takedown on Oliveira and gets the full guard as the round ends.

Round Two

The round begins with Oliveira attacking Edgar with a head kick, the fighters then exchange some kicks to the midsection. Oliveira begins to attack Edgar with some hard leg kicks, Edgar drops Oliveira with a right after blocking a kick. Oliveira stands back up and Edgar puts him back on the ground with a takedown, Edgar attacks Oliveira with some ground and pound. Edgar also begins to attack Oliveira with some elbow strikes as well before they got back up, Edgar then hits Oliveira with a three punch combination. Oliveira begins to attack Edgar with a bunch of push kicks, Oliveira charges towards Edgar to pop him with a right. Edgar responds by landing another three punch combo on Oliveira, Edgar scores another takedown on Oliveira as the round ends.

Round Three

The round begins with Edgar catching Oliveira with a few lefts, the fighters then start to exchange some leg kicks. Edgar then rocks Oliveira with a few viscous hooks and crosses, Oliveira responds by hitting Edgar with an elbow strike. Oliveira follows that up by hitting Edgar with a punching combination, Oliveira then cracks Edgar with a knee strike to the rib cage. Edgar recovers to crack Oliveira with a right to the jaw, Oliveira briefly puts Edgar on the ground before rocking him with a right. Oliveira then cracks Edgar with a few more strikes, Edgar tries to back Oliveira up by throwing a flying knee strike. Edgar then scores a takedown on Oliveira and he instantly attacks him with more strikes, Edgar postures up before cracking Oliveira with a right as the round ends.

Fight Result: Frankie Edgar def. Charles Oliveira by unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 30-27)

Main Event - UFC Middleweight Title Fight

Anderson Silva (33-4-0) (Champion) vs. Chris Weidman (9-0-0)

Referee: Herb Dean

Round One

The round begins with Weidman scoring a takedown on Silva and he immediately postures up before settling in the full guard, Weidman transitions to the half guard on Silva. Weidman begins to attack Silva with some ground and pound, Weidman postures up before cracking Silva with more strikes, Weidman rolls for the heel hook before Silva escapes and the fighters stand up. Weidman then cracks Silva with a two punch combination, Silva begins to attack Weidman with a variety of kicks. Silva just taunts Weidman for the last minute of the round.

Round Two

The round begins with Weidman barely cracking Silva with a left, Silva begins to attack Weidman with a variety of kicks. Silva also starts taunting Weidman again and Weidman drops him with a trio of left hooks, Weidman follows it up with more strikes until the referee jumps in.

Fight Result: Chris Weidman def. Anderson Silva by TKO via strikes (1:18, R2) to win the UFC Middleweight Title
