UFC veteran and former WEC Light Heavyweight Champion Brian Stann has retired from MMA competition, he does so with a 12-6-0 record. During his seven year MMA career, Stann fought the likes of Steve Cantwell, Doug Marshall, Krzystof Soszynski, Phil Davis, Chris Leben, Jorge Santiago, Chael Sonnen, Michael Bisping and Wanderlei Silva. Stann’s last bout was the headlining fight of UFC On Fuel TV VIII, he lost via knockout to the aforementioned Silva. Stann recently landed a position as a member of the ACC announce team for NCAA Football on Fox Sports South.
