A big light heavyweight fight will headline Bellator 99 as former light heavyweight champion Christian M’Pumbu faces UFC veteran Vladimir Matyushenko. M’Pumbu enters the fight riding a two fight losing streak and is competing for the first time since losing his belt. Matyushenko will be fighting for the first time since his most recent UFC release, which came after a loss to Ryan Bader at UFC On Fox VI. Bellator Fighting Championships 99 takes place on September 13th from the Pechanga Casino in Temecula, California with the aforementioned fighters headlining.
