This weekend could be the biggest in MMA history for the Cage Warriors promotion as it presents its biggest card ever. The event will feature many top veterans like Paul Daley, Ronnie Mann, Jack Mason and Norman Paraisy. The card is so stacked that even the un-aired portion of the preliminary card is loaded with three fights as well.
Kicking off the action is a featherweight division fight as Mick Kay (2-2-0) battles Dean “Hurricane†Reilly (5-5-0). Kay will enter the fight riding a two fight losing streak and has not achieved an MMA victory in nearly a full year. Reilly is returning to the promotion after being away for almost two years, but does so on a three fight losing streak. This is a must win fight for both fighters in this stage of their careers, but it will be the more experienced Reilly getting the win.
Up next is a flyweight division fight as Mick Gerrard (0-1-0) will be standing across the cage from Leon Pierre (1-2-0). Gerrard made his professional MMA debut earlier this summer, dropping a fight to Daniel Missin at Olympian MMA Championships 17. Pierre will be looking build on the momentum of his first professional MMA victory, which came over Greg Reeves at a KORE MMA event. These are two fighters who are in need of a victory in a bad way and it will be Pierre getting that much needed victory.
Headlining this portion of the card is a flyweight division fight as “Thee†Mark Connor (8-8-1) faces Bryan Creighton (3-1-0). Connor is currently undefeated in Cage Warriors competition, having defeated Andy Young and Joe Laurence. Creighton will be making his Cage Warriors debut in this fight, having primarily competed in the Olympian MMA Championships promotion. Connor is easily the most experienced fight that Creighton has fought, but Creighton will get the victory here.
