Actor Sylvester Stallone has announced that current UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey will have a role in the upcoming film, The Expendables III. In past editions of the film, former UFC Heavyweight Champion and UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Randy Couture, plus former WWE Champion Steve Austin have had roles in the series. Rousey will first be defending her gold against Miesha Tate in a highly anticipated rematch at UFC 168, The Expendables III is set for theatrical release on August 15th, 2014.
