The Bellator Lightweight Title will be defended at Bellator 106 as champion Michael Chandler defends against Eddie Alvarez. Chandler will be making the third defense of his title, which he won by defeating Alvarez at Bellator 58. Alvarez is returning to Bellator after a long contract dispute, he last competed at Bellator 76, defeating Patricky Freire. Bellator 106 takes place on November 2nd from the Long Beach Arena in Long Beach, California with Tito Ortiz and Quinton Jackson headlining.
