BIG WELTERWEIGHT BOUT ADDED TO UFC ULTIMATE FIGHT NIGHT 29

A welterweight division fight has been added to UFC Ultimate Fight Night 29 as Damien Maia faces Jake Shields. Maia is currently undefeated as a welterweight in the UFC, most notably defeating Jon Fitch at UFC 156. Shields will enter the fight riding a two fight winning streak, with his last win coming over Tyron Woodley at UFC 161. UFC Ultimate Fight Night 29 takes place on October 9th from a location TBA in Brazil with no headliner announced as of yet.
