A hand injury has forced Christian M’Pumbu off the Bellator 99 card, replacing him against Vladimir Matyushenko will be Houston Alexander. Matyushenko will be competing for the first time since his UFC release, which came after a loss to Ryan Bader at UFC On Fox VI. Alexander will enter the fight riding a two fight winning streak and he has competed in the UFC before. Bellator 99 takes place on September 13th from the Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, California with Diego Nunes and Patricio Freire headlining.
