The UFC will be dominating our television sets for the near future, as there are two events taking place this week alone. The sophomore effort of Fox Sports 1 is going to be a loaded card featuring the highly anticipated rematch between Carlos Condit and Martin Kampmann. There will be two fights streaming live on Facebook, including a key fight in the UFC’s lightweight division.
Kicking off the action is a lightweight division fight as “Relentless†Roger Bowling (11-4-0) battles Abel “Killa†Trujillo (10-5-0). Bowling is currently winless in UFC competition, having dropped a fight to Anthony Njokuani at UFC On Fox VII. Trujillo has split both of his fights in the UFC, defeating Marcus LeVesseur and suffering a defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov. This is a must win fight if either fighter wants to remain on the roster and it will by Trujillo keeping his job.
Headlining this portion of the card is a middleweight division fight as Ben “Benny Blanco†Alloway (12-4-0) faces Zak Cummings (15-3-0). Alloway has split both of his UFC fights, defeating Manuel Rodriguez and suffering a defeat to Ryan LaFlare. Cummings will be making his UFC debut in this fight, but he has fought UFC veterans Ryan Jimmo, Tim Kennedy and Terry Martin. Cummings has been waiting a long time to finally get a shot in the UFC and he will reward them for signing him by getting a victory.
