Sammy Smith has been bitten by a brown recluse spider and is off the Legacy Fighting Championships 23 card, replacing him against Richard Odoms will be DJ Linderman. Odoms will be looking to rebound from his first career defeat, which came to Jared Rosholt at Legacy FC 17. Linderman will enter the fight riding a two fight winning streak, which includes a victory over Bellator veteran Mike Hayes. Legacy Fighting Championships 23 takes place on September 13th from the Cowboys Dancehall in San Antonio, Texas with Pete Spratt and Tim Means headlining.
