The first three bouts have been announced for the World Series Of Fighting VI, they are Josh Burkman versus Steve Carl to crown the first ever WSOF Welterweight Champion, Marlon Moraes versus Chase Beebe and Justin Gaethje versus Dan Lauzon. Burkman is currently undefeated in WSOF competition, having defeated Gerald Harris, Aaron Simpson and Jon Fitch. Carl is also undefeated in WSOF competition, with his victories coming over Ramico Blackmon and Tyson Steele.
Moraes is currently undefeated in WSOF competition as well, having defeated Miguel Torres, Brandon Hempleman and Tyson Nam. Beebe will be making his promotional debut on a two fight losing streak, with one loss coming to Travis Marx at Bellator 90. Gaethje is currently undefeated in WSOF competition, with wins coming over Gesias Cavalcante and Brian Cobb. Lauzon made his promotional debut at the WSOF III, where he defeated John Gunderson by unanimous decision. World Series Of Fighting VI takes place on October 26th from the Bank United Center in Coral Gables, Florida with Josh Burkman and Steve Carl headlining.
