Xtreme Fighting Championships and Spartan FC veteran Cornelius Godfrey has passed away 0n September 4th after getting into a motorcycle accident, he was 25 years old. According to reports, it was Godfrey’s wife who “pinged†his cell phone and after getting the location, found motorcycle parts on the street and later a police helicopter located Cornelius and the rest of the bike. Reports also state that Cornelius was driving home after being at a bar, it is believed he crashed into a guardrail. Godfrey’s last professional MMA fight came at Ultimate Victory Challenge 26 in May 2013, where he defeated Corey Simmons by unanimous decision.
