UFC veteran Cheick Kongo will be making his Bellator Fighting Championships debut at Bellator 101, he will fight Mark Godbeer. Kongo will be competing outside of the UFC auspices for the first time in over seven years, he amassed a record of 11-6-1. Godbeer is returning to action after being out of competition for over a year, he last defeated Catalin Zmarandescu at BAMMA IX. Bellator 101 takes place on September 27th from The Moda Center at Rose Quarter in Portland, Oregon with the aforementioned fighters headlining.
