A huge bantamweight division encounter as Urijah Faber is competing in his hometown against Michael McDonald. Faber will enter the fight riding a three fight winning streak, last defeating Yuri Alcantara at UFC Ultimate Fight Night 26. McDonald has won five of six under the UFC banner, with his lone loss coming to UFC Interim Bantamweight Champion Renan Barao. UFC On Fox IX takes place on December 14th from the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California with no headliner announced as of yet.
