Fight #5 – Bellator Featherweight Tournament Opening Round
Andrew Fisher (12-4-1) vs. Joe Taimanglo (18-4-1)

Round One
The round begins with Taimanglo cracking Fisher with a right to the midsection, Fisher quickly brings Taimanglo to the ground after catching him with a counter right. Taimanglo quickly pops back up and he forces Fisher into the cage wall, Taimanglo then attacks Fisher with a knee strike. Taimanglo then nails Fisher with a superman punch and an uppercut, Taimanglo then starts to attack Fisher with some leg kicks. Taimanglo then rocks Fisher with a right to the head, Taimanglo eats a few strikes before catching Fisher with a two punch combo. Fisher responds by cracking Taimanglo with a right of his own, Taimanglo nails Fisher with one more uppercut as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with Fisher nailing a kicking Taimanglo with a counter right, Taimanglo then attacks Fisher with a multiple strike combination. Taimanglo follows that up by crushing Fisher with a knee strike, Taimanglo grabs a hold of Fisher to attack him with knee strikes. Taimanglo then hits a ducking Fisher with a right uppercut, Fisher finally responds by hitting Taimanglo with a short right. Taimanglo mixes up his attack by hitting Fisher with leg kicks, Fisher responds by hitting Taimanglo with a two punch combo. Fisher tries to get a takedown on Taimanglo as the round ends.
Round Three
The round begins with Taimanglo attacking Fisher with some leg kicks, Taimanglo follows that up by popping Fisher with a knee strike. Fisher backs Taimanglo up by landing a left to the rib cage, Taimanglo then pops a swinging Fisher with an uppercut that is followed by a spinning back kick attempt. Fisher then rocks Taimanglo with a wild right from out of nowhere, Taimanglo grabs a hold of Fisher before hitting him with an uppercut. Fisher does his best to pepper Taimanglo with some jabs, Taimanglo responds by hitting Fisher with a superman punch. Fisher nails Taimanglo with a left after eating a two punch combination, Fisher then hits a swinging Taimanglo with a right as the round ends.

Fight #6 – Bellator Featherweight Tournament Opening Round
Akop Stepanyan (13-5-0) vs. Justin Wilcox (11-5-0)

Round One
The round begins with Wilcox quickly nailing Stepanyan with a right, both fighters then start attacking each other with leg kicks. Stepanyan then cracks a swinging Wilcox with a multi-strike combination, Stepanyan then hits Wilcox with a kick to the midsection. Stepanyan starts to slow Wilcox down badly with those leg kicks, Wilcox charges forward on Stepanyan after a missed kick. Stepanyan nearly cracks Wilcox with a head kick, Stepanyan follows that up by kicking Wilcox in the rib cage. Stepanyan then pops a swinging Wilcox with a two punch combination, Stepanyan catches Wilcox with a two strike combination that rattles him. Stepanyan continues to attack Wilcox with a variety of kicks, Stepanyan lands one more kick to the ribs of Wilcox as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with Stepanyan kicking Wilcox as he went for a cart wheel kick, Stepanyan then rocks Wilcox with a spinning back kick to the head. Wilcox scores a takedown on Stepanyan and he gets the full guard, Wilcox transitions to the half guard on Stepanyan. Wilcox quickly transitions to back control on Stepanyan and he locks in a rear naked choke, Stepanyan goes out cold and the referee steps in.
Fight Result: Justin Wilcox def. Akop Stepanyan by submission via rear naked choke (2:20, R2)
Fight #7 – Bellator Light Heavyweight Division Fight
Vladimir Matyushenko (26-7-0) vs. Houston Alexander (15-9-0)

Round One
The round begins with Matyushenko attacking Alexander with leg kicks, Alexander responds by hitting Matyushenko with a counter right. Alexander scores a takedown on Matyushenko and he attacks him with some strikes afterwards, Matyushenko sweeps Alexander to get on top of him. Alexander scrambles to get the fight standing again, Matyushenko grabs a hold of Alexander while nailing him with knee strikes. Matyushenko scores a takedown on Alexander and he gets the half guard, Matyushenko transitions to full guard on Alexander. Alexander scrambles again to get the fight standing again, Matyushenko then pops Alexander with a right. The fighters have a wild exchange in the center of the cage as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with Matyushenko popping Alexander with a three punch combination, Matyushenko then rocks Alexander with a left hook. Matyushenko follows that up with a two punch combo on Alexander, the fighters exchange some leg kicks. Alexander catches Matyushenko with a counter right after eating a leg kick, Matyushenko looks for a takedown and a scramble happens afterwards as the round ends.
Round Three
The round begins with Alexander charging at Matyushenko while throwing strikes, Matyushenko also begins to attack Alexander with leg kicks. Alexander then hits Matyushenko with a knee strike as they clinch, Matyushenko then rocks Alexander with a loopy right. Matyushenko follows that up with a two punch combo before scoring a takedown on Alexander, Alexander scrambles to get the fight standing and Matyushenko drags him right back down. Matyushenko begins to attack Alexander with some ground and pound, Alexander uses the wall walk to get the fight standing. Matyushenko again drags Alexander to the ground while controlling his head, Matyushenko again attacks Alexander with ground and pound until the round ends.

Fight #8 - Bellator Featherweight Tournament Opening Round
Desmond Green (9-1-0) vs. Fabricio Guerreiro (17-2-0)

Round One
The round begins with Guerreiro swinging wildly at Green, Guerreiro then hits Green with a few counter strikes after eating a body kick. Guerreiro starts to attack Green with some leg kicks, Green responds by cracking Guerreiro with a straight left. Green starts to attack Guerreiro with some leg kicks of his own, Green quickly gets up from a takedown by Guerreiro and he eats a knee strike afterwards. Guerreiro then attempts a superman punch on Green, Green then rocks a kicking Guerreiro with a counter right. Guerreiro then pops Green with a front kick to the midsection, Guerreiro then kicks Green directly in the rib cage. Green scores a takedown on Guerreiro as the round ends.
Round Two
The round begins with Guerreiro popping Green with a short left, Green recovers by hitting Guerreiro with a two punch combination. Guerreiro uses his speed to get standing back control on Green, Guerreiro then attacks Green with a bunch of knee strikes. Guerreiro briefly puts Green on the ground with a trio of takedowns, Guerreiro then attacks Green with a high kick. Green then grabs a hold of Guerreiro to force him up against the cage wall, Guerreiro accidentally kicks Green low and the fight is halted. The fight resumes with Guerreiro nailing Green with a high kick, Green scores a takedown on Guerreiro as the round ends.
Round Three
The round begins with Green grabbing a hold of Guerreiro to nail him with knee strikes, Green does his best to try and drag Guerreiro to the ground. Green briefly puts Guerreiro on the ground and nearly got caught in a guillotine choke, Green avoids some strikes from Guerreiro before landing a two strike combo. Guerreiro chases Green around the ring while landing a few strikes, Guerreiro then hits Green with a knee strike while they both looked for the takedown. Green hits Guerreiro with a kick to the body as the round ends.
Fight Result: Fabricio Guerreiro def. Desmond Green by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
Main Event - Bellator Featherweight Tournament Opening Round
Patricio Freire (18-2-0) vs. Diego Nunes (18-4-0)

The round begins with Freire attacking Nunes with some leg kicks, Nunes responds by landing some leg kicks of his own. Freire then drops a charging Nunes with a left hook, Freire pounces on Nunes and Nunes goes out cold.
