Prior to a planned bout between Elvis Mutapcic and Jesse Taylor, Mutapcic was caught by a New Jersey State Athletic Commission member taking an unapproved medication prior to the bout. Since the medication was not approved by the commission, the commission decided that the fight would be cancelled. The fight was supposed to determine who would fight the winner of David Branch/Danillo Villefort for the vacant WSOF Middleweight Title. WSOF officials have yet to comment on the situation and there is no word yet on if the fight will be rescheduled.
