Following the injury to Rony Jason, Jeremy Stephens has also suffered an injury and is off the UFC Ultimate Fight Night 29 card. With that bout off the card, a welterweight match between Rousimar Palhares and Mike Pierce has been moved from the Fox Sports 1 portion of the preliminary card to the main card. Additionally, a bout between Chris Cariaso and Iliarde Santos has been promoted from the Facebook portion of the preliminary card to the Fox Sports 1 portion of the preliminary card. UFC Ultimate Fight Night 29 takes place on October 9th from the Jose Correa Arena in Sao Paulo, Brazil with Damian Maia and Jake Shields headlining.
