A potentially action packed lightweight bout has been added to UFC On Fox IX as Joe Lauzon battles Mac Danzig. Lauzon has only won one of his last four under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Jamie Varner at UFC On Fox IV. Danzig has also won one of his last four under the UFC banner, with his last fight being a loss to Melvin Guillard at UFC On Fox VIII. UFC On Fox IX takes place on December 14th from the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California with Anthony Pettis and Josh Thomson headlining.
