Ryan Couture, the son of former UFC Heavyweight Champion and UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Randy Couture, has been released by the UFC. Couture went 0-2-0 during his time in the UFC, with those losses coming to Ross Pearson and Al Iaquinta. Couture came to the UFC after a long run in the Strikeforce promotion, where he won six of seven fights. Couture has yet to announce any future plans, but it would seem likely that he will end up in Bellator, which is a promotion his father is working with now.
