A UFC Light Heavyweight Title bout as champion Jon Jones will defend the championship against Glover Teixeira. Jones will be making the seventh defense of his championship as he last defended it against Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 165. Teixeira is currently undefeated in UFC competition and earned a shot at the belt when he defeated Ryan Bader at UFC Ultimate Fight Night 28. UFC 169 takes place on February 1st from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey with the aforementioned fighters headlining.
