Top ranked lightweight competitor Tatsuya Kawajiri has signed a multi-fight deal with the Ultimate Fighting Championships. Kawajiri has competed in all the top MMA organizations from PRIDE to Strikeforce, plus has fought top names like Yves Edwards, Caol Uno, Takanori Gomi, Gilbert Melendez, Eddie Alvarez, Gesias Cavalcante, Shinya Aoki and Josh Thomson. Kawajiri has stated he would like to make his UFC debut in January, but nothing has been announced yet.
