A host of fights have been added to Cage Warriors 62 as Jordan Desborough faces Cory Tait, Leeroy Barnes faces Ronan McKay, Steve Dinsdale faces Chris Scott, Alex Enlund faces Danny Lawson, Mark Connor faces Shaj Haque, Kerry Hughes faces Agnieszka Niedzwiedz and Emma Delaney faces Laura Howarth. Desborough made it to the finals of the one night tournament for the Cage Warriors Bantamweight Title, but lost to Brett Johns. Tait will enter the fight riding a three fight winning streak and will be returning to Cage Warriors after a three year absence.
Barnes will enter the fight riding a two fight losing streak, with one of those losses coming to Bellator veteran Norman Paraisy. McKay will enter the fight riding a two fight winning streak, but he has not competed in well over a year. Dinsdale is looking to build on his first Cage Warriors victory, which came over Dan Rushworth at Cage Warriors 57. Scott will enter the fight riding a two fight losing streak, with both losses coming under the Cage Warriors banner. Enlund has won two of three in Cage Warriors, last defeating Sebastian Romanowski at Cage Warriors 58. Lawson will enter the fight riding a six fight winning streak, with only one of those six fights going to a decision.
Connor has won two of three under the Cage Warriors banner, but he is coming off of a loss to Bryan Creighton at Cage Warriors 52. Haque is looking to rebound from his first professional MMA defeat, which came to Paul Marin at Cage Warriors Fight Night IX. Hughes is currently undefeated as a professional MMA fighter, with her pro debut being a victory over LJ Adams. Niedzwiedz is also undefeated as a professional MMA fighter, with none of her fights going past the second round. Delaney will be making her professional MMA debut in this fight and she did go winless as an amateur fighter. Howarth will also be making her professional MMA debut in this fight, but she went undefeated as an amateur. Cage Warriors 62 takes place on December 7th from the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle, England with Neil Seery and Ulysses Gomez headlining.
