A UFC Light Heavyweight Title bout as champion Jon Jones is set to defend the championship against Glover Teixeira. Jones will be making the seventh defense of his championship, he last defended it against Alexander Gutsafsson at UFC 165. Teixeira has not lost a fight in well over seven years, with notable victories over former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton Jackson and former UFC Heavyweight Champion Ricco Rodriguez. UFC 170 takes place on February 22nd from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada with the aforementioned fighters headlining.
